Accessibility statement

Scope

This statement applies to the website maintenir.net in all language versions. The Maintenir web application (app.maintenir.net) and the mobile apps for iOS and Android are not covered by this statement.

Maintenir is aimed at businesses. We publish this statement voluntarily and follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549.

Compliance status

This is based on a self-assessment carried out in October 2026, in which we checked selected pages with automated tests (Lighthouse) and manually. A full audit by external experts and with screen readers is still pending.

What we have already implemented

• The display can be enlarged on all devices, including by zooming on smartphones.
• Text and controls have sufficient colour contrast of at least 4.5:1.
• Pages are clearly structured with headings, and each language version is marked up as such.
• Images have alternative text, and explanatory graphics have a text description.
• Form fields are labelled, and required fields and error messages are shown as text.
• The menu can also be operated on smartphones and passes its state (open or closed) on to assistive technologies.
• Videos never start with sound, have controls and can be paused. If you have set reduced motion, you will see a still image instead of the background video on the home page.

Content that is not accessible

• Videos: Our product videos currently have no subtitles and no audio description. The key content is also available as text on the page.
• Third-party content: Appointment booking via Calendly and the cookie banner come from external providers. We have only limited influence on their accessibility. You can also arrange appointments by phone or email at any time.
• Keyboard and screen readers: We have not yet fully tested keyboard and screen reader operation on all pages. The focus may not be clearly visible everywhere.

We are working to remove these limitations and will update this statement when anything changes.
