Are you a machine builder?
Turn every machine into your spare parts shop.
Fit your entire plant with tags. With a scan, your customer gets the data you maintain and orders spare parts or books your service directly with you. The barrier is as low as possible – and the high-margin spare parts business stays with you.
Illustrative preview – tap through it.
After delivery, you lose sight of your machine. And the spare parts business along with it.
Spare parts and service are the highest-margin business in machine building. Yet all too often the customer orders elsewhere, simply because it’s easier there.
Spare parts business drifts away
If the maintenance technician can’t find the part number right away, they order from a dealer or buy copies.
Docs in a folder, nameplate dirty
Parts lists, manuals and serial numbers are hard to find at the customer’s site when the machine is down.
Service requests without information
Which machine, which assembly, which year? Every request starts with questions by phone and email.
No line to the operator
You don’t know when maintenance is due or a wear part needs replacing. The customer only gets in touch when things are already on fire.
Tag once. Sell for years.
Tag the plant
The machine and its assemblies get a QR, NFC or RFID tag on delivery.
Maintain the data
You store spare parts, parts lists, documents and maintenance plans centrally or import them from your ERP.
Scan
The maintenance technician scans the component and instantly sees your data for exactly this machine and serial number.
Order or book
Add a spare part to the cart or request a service appointment. The request reaches you with all the machine data.
The easier the order, the more spare parts business stays with you.
Anyone who finds the right part in seconds doesn’t look for alternatives.
Today 7 steps, often days
- Find and decipher the nameplate
- Find the documentation in a folder or network drive
- Look up the part number in the parts list
- Call or email the manufacturer
- Answer questions about year and version
- Wait for a quote
- Place the order
With Maintenir 3 steps
- Scan the tag on the component
- Choose the spare part
- Order
Machine, serial number and version are known. The customer who needs the part right now orders it – and orders it from you.
Your potential in the spare parts business
A simple example calculation. Set the sliders to match your installed base.
Example calculation based on your input. The actual effect depends on your product, your customers and your competition. In a demo, we’ll happily work it out with your figures.
From component tag to predictable service business
Once your machine is in Maintenir, every scan, every sensor value and every maintenance job becomes a touchpoint with your customer.
The machine reports its own needs.
Beckhoff, Siemens, WAGO: Maintenir reads controllers and sensors. When a value reaches its limit or a wear part its interval, a service order or a spare parts suggestion is created automatically.
- OPC UA, Beckhoff ADS, Siemens S7, MQTT, Modbus and more
- Limits and alarms per assembly
- Predictive maintenance instead of downtime
Service that sells itself – and keeps coming back.
Assign delivered machines to a maintenance contract. Maintenir schedules the visits, sends timely reminders and documents every service for you and your customer.
- Due maintenance across the entire installed base
- Recurring service revenue instead of one-off jobs
- Proof of service right in the customer’s asset file
Plant, machine, assembly, component.
Map your plant exactly as it is built. Every assembly carries its own spare parts, documents and maintenance plans. Your customer finds everything exactly where they are standing.
- Structure as deep as you need, down to the single component
- Rights follow the structure
- Your manufacturer data stays under your control
Parts lists from the ERP, no manual work.
Equipment, parts lists and spare parts come straight from SAP or your ERP, including type, structure and inspection interval. Every new machine is fully documented from delivery.
- Connection to SAP and other ERP systems
- Changes apply to all customers immediately
- Orders and service requests flow back
The request comes in. The visit is set.
When your customer books service by scan, your team already knows the machine, assembly, history and required parts beforehand. No follow-up questions, and the right material in the van.
- Work order with machine, serial number and material
- Dispatching of your service technicians
- Report with signature right at the customer’s site

Frequently asked questions
Which tags can I use?
Maintenir supports QR codes, barcodes, NFC and RFID. So you’ll find the right tag for every environment, from the control cabinet to a harsh production hall.
Do I have to maintain all the data by hand?
No. Parts lists, spare parts and equipment can be imported from your ERP. You maintain them centrally, and changes are available to all customers immediately.
What does my customer see, and what stays with me?
You decide which data your customer sees, e.g. manuals, spare parts and maintenance plans. Internal information stays with you.
How do orders and service requests reach me?
As a complete request with machine, serial number, component and the desired item or date. We’ll clarify in the demo how the handover to your ERP or shop works.
Can this also be used for machines already delivered?
Yes. Tags can be retrofitted to existing plants too, e.g. during the next service visit.
