It is a pleasure to have you here.
In all likelihood, you hold responsibility—for a company, a building, a production facility, a retail space, or a similar establishment. Perhaps you also provide services to exactly these types of clients. In either case, you have come to the right place.
My name is Lukas Hanswillemenke, and I founded Maintenir.
The problem we all know
In principle, we agree: occupational safety, product quality, longevity, and the avoidance of unnecessary waste are not mere buzzwords, but self-evident values. And yet, requirements are growing at a pace where many responsible parties—myself included—are increasingly reaching their limits.
The questions that arise daily are surely familiar to you:
- What must I have inspected—and what else makes sense beyond that?
- When are which inspections due, and who receives which documents?
- Why does the insurance company not accept the inspection that was already prepared for the city?
- Who is actually authorized to inspect what—and why are the costs so difficult to track?
- How does all of this relate to ISO 50001, ISO 9001, and other standards?
If you work as a service provider, you know the flip side all too well: customers who are understandably annoyed by opaque processes. Documents that have to be reassembled over and over again because they cannot be found at the customer's site. Colleagues who spend four hours searching for inspection objects on a construction site—only to find out that they were disposed of long ago without anyone being notified.
Why I know what I am talking about
As a person responsible for building technology and as a developer of IT systems for corresponding service processes, I know both sides of this coin very well. And to be honest, the status quo can only be summarized as follows: there are losers and frustration on all sides. Frustration that leads to financial losses. Financial losses that lead to poorer inspections. And poorer inspections that ultimately jeopardize safety.
This cannot—and must not—be the target state.
Our Mission
With Maintenir, I am pursuing a clear goal: to bring light into this darkness. We are developing a sophisticated software and hardware solution that turns this situation back into a win—for everyone involved:
The environment wins because objects last longer and are operated more efficiently.
Safety wins because inspections become higher quality and more efficient through cleanly managed processes.
You win—whether as an operator or a service provider—because we increase efficiency by a factor of 3 and consistently eliminate pointless tasks.
And last but not least: you would not be the first customer to tell me after implementing our solution that they sleep better. Because they can clearly prove at any time that they have initiated everything necessary for greater safety.
Welcome
I look forward to welcoming you to our network.
Best regards,
Lukas Hanswillemenke
